Several of the Chicago Blast Soccer Club players had the privilege of being introduced to Marta, the world’s best female soccer players. Los Angeles Head Coach, Women’s Professional Coach, Abner Rogers was kind enough to allow a rare opportunity for Chicago Blast players to attend his practice session at Toyota Park prior to their game vs. Chicago Red Stars.

Abner Rogers, a personal friend of Aleks Mihailovic, coached together during International Games, USA vs. Mexico in 2005.  The LA team won the league championship in the Women’s Inaugural Professional league but lost in the championship playoff finals. Meeting several payers was a thrill for the Blast players.
