Congratulations to the Chicago Blast Soccer Club and the U13 Blue Boys for making into the State Cup Finals on June 20th. The U13 boys won their bracket by going undefeated and winning a drill last Thursday to make it into the State finals in a penalty shoot –out. The game vs. Real FC New Castle was extremely exciting ending in a 5-5 regulation play before penalty shots. Our boys scored all four penalties and our goalkeeper saved 2 out of 4 to put the Chicago Blast in the championship game. This is third year in row that a Chicago Blast team has made it into the State Cup finals. Along with winning the Midwest Cup last weekend, the U13 boys have had a successful season.
